Esports Qualifies State Showdown in Overwatch 2

The ADM Esports Overwatch 2 team is headed to State.

In just its second year competing in Overwatch 2, ADM has qualified for the 2026 IAHSEA Winter Class 2 State Showdown, marking a major milestone for the growing program. After narrowly missing a State berth last season with a tough Sub-State loss, the Tigers returned this winter with determination and focus — and the results followed.

A Season of Growth and Determination

ADM finished the regular season with an impressive 6–1 record, earning the #7 seed heading into the Class 2 Sub-State playoffs. In the opening round, the Tigers faced #10 seed Oskaloosa and delivered a dominant performance, sweeping the match 3–0 to secure their place at State.

Led by team captain Miller Banse, the Tigers have demonstrated steady growth, teamwork, and resilience throughout the season. Their commitment to improvement and ability to compete under pressure have propelled the team to this achievement.
